WC3L Finals + Battle.net Season Finals

(Will) We start the eSports year with a bang, not only the WC3L awaits us but also the Battle.Net Season 4 Finals. Two of the greatest events in the world of eSports and both fully covered at GIGA 2.

January 25th until 28th is the date, WC3L Finals and Battle.net Season Finals the events. Two of the biggest Warcraft III events with all the greatest names in the scene. Although the latter is not all what makes these events fantastic.

The KOMED has been the location for previous WC3L Finals already and we are pleased that it is again. This glass building is some eye-candy alright and provides enough space for all the fans.

The Burning Crusade - Special Event

On location there's not only the high class Warcraft III games, as other special events will be introduced to the public. The first one will be a grand Burning Crusade special, where you will have the possibility to play the expansion and thoroughly test it. All this under the watchfull eye of no one less than The head developer from Blizzard, who will pay us a visit straight from the US. He will not only be there for WoW:BC but also for Warcraft III and can be addressed by you if you'd like!



Completely aside of this, the GIGA 2 hosts will also be there of course and can be addressed and talked to when you wish.


Our program

We will be on location and cover the event in English and German. Aside from our usual paytv stream we will also offer shoutcast streams for the whole event, completely free. The English shoutcasters for this will be Will "Zolex" De Gryse and Jaclyn "Jaczie" Lo!

This will also be the launch for the new Giga.listen. This will be a radio station for GIGA, completely free and will cover all important eSports matches. With this, in addition to our paytv stream, GIGA makes another big step towards the international community! For the moment only the giga.listen German part will launch with a full team, the English part is still under construction but expect a grand liftoff soon!
