On February 9th, the Extreme Masters Warcraft III and CS match will take place in that city, known for its cold weather, but best of all

IFNG Moscow, Extreme Masters in its full glory!

This event will surely be packed to the brim with people who are awaiting to see the upcoming Extreme Masters matches.

Warcraft III

In this IFNG, it will be an up and coming Russian youngster going against a veteran German player.
Titan, a Night Elf player from Mousesports, is a player brimming with potential. He has performed better than expected, and it was really a shame that he was unable to come to Cologne during the WC3L finals to show off his talents for his team. Fortunately, IFNG is now flying off to Moscow to get to know this young player, and through GIGA streams you’ll discover what this young player is all about.

Miou of course, is a name that strikes a warm familiarity to people who have a good amount of knowledge of the Warcraft III scene. He was part of SK International before, then decided to move to the SK.de, along with good showing in local ESL Pro Series matches in Germany. He’s a veteran Human player who have competed in various tournaments, both online and off, making his experience worthy of a professional gamer.

Both Miou and Titan are now on the 2nd and 3rd place of their groups, respectively, making this a must-win situation for both parties if they want to secure a sure spot for the playoffs. This obviously would amount to an incredible matchup between these two equally talented and capable players, vying for the prize in the Extreme Masters tournament.

Counter-Strike

Four Kings vs. Begrip Gaming, perhaps an underdog match amongst the greater teams, as both of them are ranked the lowest of their group. Four Kings only managed to score a single win against 2 losses and Begrip lost all three games so far. Joining the next stage of the Extreme Masters now seems unlikely for both these teams but being in this league already portrays great skill. These guys aren’t unknown, and this upcoming battle might just make the ground tremble.

These battlegrounds will be de_nuke, a map that Begrip improved in a lot lately and aren’t to be underestimated on the CT side. As Xenitron from Begrip points out, this might just depend on pistolrounds and whoever has the best defence. If they still wish to prove themselves in this first Extreme Masters season, now will be the time and Moscow will be the place, good hunting to both teams!

Tune in to GIGA February 9th to see a high quality TV stream of the event, completely in English language or perhaps visit it yourself and observe while we lead the event on stage!
